I kinda dropped the ball this year though. I didn't bring my camera. Shmeh.
So Anime North 2004 came and went. The weekend was fun. The con was meh-ish. As it wasn't as hotel oriented as in previous weeks (being partly in a convention centre) I thought that rather detracted from it. There was also *no* BESM games (see note 1), and a hidden DDR tournament. But considering what happened to it this year, I'll still thank the con volunteers for doing a good job nonetheless.
Next year though, set a cap for Inuyasha cosplayers though. O.o
At least chilling with friends was fun. Sake and Absinth mix well to put keddy on the floor.
Note 1: There was RP'ing, but not using the BESM rules as in nearly all cons previous. Guardians of Order now have licensed the D20 rules, which make for stricter games. Looking at the book though (aside from being 95 bucks) it does look like it could work.
