Today my Gramma passed away. She was very close to me, and greatly loved.

I'm blogging about it because alongside how caring and nice she was towards the family, my earliest computer memories are of her teaching an 8 year old me DOS commands to play Space Invaders and Sopwith on a (now) age old Zenith PC.

She will be missed by many.

    I believe she had a lot to do with us getting our first home PC, as well. She really was the best Gramma ever (who else would give you lucky charms for breakfast and let you pick out everything but the marshmallows from your bowl?), and I definitely will

    People have an effect over time. like feet on carpets. When someone's been with you over an especially long period (and formative years count double), be they man or beast, their absence is like removing a metal fence from a tree that's grown around it.
